Kid Junction Encourages Reading Literacy In December of 2006, Kid Junction proudly donated 560 free passes to the Bridgewater Milltown School Reading Incentive Program-Classrooms Care "Reading is Giving." For every 100 books the children at Milltown School read, Scholastic, with the help of their literacy partners, donated 100 new books to children in need around the country. The Kid Junction passes were distributed as a reward for all of the extra reading the children did. Kid Junction wanted to do their share to help promote and support literacy in their community.
Supporting Local Community Families in Need Kid Junction happily donated a free Kid Junction Membership to '86 East Cares Reunion Basket Auction in November 2006. ’86 East Cares is a community fund for the Bridgewater-Raritan High School East Class of 1986. It is a standing, professionally-managed investment pool, that would live & grow between reunions, out of which we can direct some goodwill (that is, make periodic monetary donations).
